Buy Photinia x Fraseri ‘Red Robin’ (Photinia Red Robin)
Photinia Red Robin is a relatively slow growing evergreen hedging plant. It likes well drained soil (not heavy clay) and prefers full sun or partial shade. Red Robin is a good alternative to Cherry Laurel providing the area receives good sunshine and isn’t heavy ground. The new leaves are a rich red colour, turning to a duller red and then green as they age. Photinia Red Robin will produce a flush of fragrant white flowers in the spring if untrimmed. Regular trimming is necessary in order to keep the foliage thick (see RHS website).
We usually supply between 1m and 3m in height (stocks dependant). Potted plants will be available all year round and rootballed plants during the Autumn and Winter months. Please do contact us to discuss your requirements.
